Baby potatoes/potatoes 1/2kg
Onion 1
Green chilli 2

Refined cooking oil 4tsp
Tomato paste 2tsp
Redchilli powder 1tsp
Dhania powder 1tsp
Garam masala 1tsp
Tamrind paste 1tsp
Salt to taste
Fresh and chopped coriander to garnish
Method:
Boil/pressure cook ½ kg potatoes or baby potatoes and set aside to cool. Once cool, peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes. In case of baby potatoes, just peeling will do.
Make a fine paste of Onion,green chilli and ginger.
In a kadai/pan(Bandli/mookudu), heat 4 tsp oil.Add the above ground paste and fry till light brown.
Once the onion paste is done, add a tsp each pf tomato paste,red chilli powder, dhania powder and mix well.cook for 2 mins.
Add the boiled potatoes and mix well.Add 1 tsp of tamarind paste and mix again. Add salt to taste.Leave to cook upto 7-10 mins. Add water if thinner gravy is required.
Garnish with fresh and chopped coriander.
